question: Alpha System ES40 and NCR53C895

Hello

We are about to do an ebay purchase on for an ES40 that will be running TRU64 version 5.1A with an NCR53C895 SCSI adapter.

I have checked the specs for the ES40 and this adapter is not listed. I have also done web searches and have not come across anything.

I have been caught before and I was wondering if anyone is aware of any compatibility issues of the NCR53C895 with the ES40?
