Dear All,

Thank you for your answers, the problem is not
solved yet.
A few words about the hardware: two FC cards,
no switches, direct connection to two HSGs serving
the same disk storage system.

Yes, in the console.

Yes I know, that's why I tried to use "wwidmgr"
to get the disks back.

I haven't checked the HSGs yet, but I'll have
to do that, since even a booted system - anyway,
it's a VMS - can't see them.
I haven't checked the HSGs before, since it was
only a motherboard replacement, and I assumed
that everything will be fine...

I myself tried it with the result: "Environment
variable mode created". :-)
Nevertheless the wwidmgr command itself seemed
to work. (It only does not collect the disks which
I assume it should. But I repeat: until now I
haven't checked the HSGs.)
Addendum: "wwidmgr -show port -full" shows some
dga##### and dgb##### disks. Does it mean anything?

Thank you,
