I have a variety of networked printers running off my Tru64 DS20
AlphaStation. One of them, an HP Laserjet 2100 M Postscript, has started
printing out without returns at the end of each line. I assumed that I
must have entered some error into the printcap file, as I had been fiddling
a short while ago
with the rm field in printcap for various machines. However, as the
excerpt from the
printcap below shows, there is no apparent difference between the printer
that has lost its returns, and one that still prints normally (apart of
course from the parts of printcap that refer to the names of the
printers). Am I correct in assuming that this is not a printcap
problem? Are there any other config files that I should look at? As
always, any ideas much appreciated.

Excerpt from printcap - dprnt406 prints without returns between lines,
hplaser409 prints normally. Both are laserjets.
