Reviving a Dead Server.

We have an AlphaServer 2000 which I am trying to get back up and running.
After attaching all the disks arrays and tape drives to the system and
powering it back on, I thought that the system was ready to be booted into
Tru64 (MISTAKE!). After trying to boot into TRU64, I came to realize the
internal rz0 (dka0) drive was bad since that is the drive which we use for
the /tmp directory (/dev/rrz0g).

Luckily, as I was looking around at some drive we have, I found a
replacement for the defective drive. I slid the drive into the server
hoping beyond hope that it would recognize it and continue. Alas, no luck
was to be the order.

I was wondering if you good people knew of a way of getting this disk
running again? What steps or commands do I need to take to get this disk
formatted and recognized by TRU64 so that it will mount the /tmp directory?

TIA,
