The answer is to modify the file called queuedefs which is in the
/var/adm/cron/ directory. There's a line in there called "max_jobs" --
set it equal to whatever number you like.
Now if I can figure out how to create different batch queues like on VMS
... :-)

Hi,
I'm trying to increase the MAXRUN parameter for cron. However, I can't
find a file to make the change in. I don't see anything on the man page
and any references I can find online mention /etc/default/cron which we
don't have. In fact we don't even have an /etc/default directory.
Should I just make this directory (/etc/default/) and create the cron
file in it and add the MAXRUN parameter? Or is it someplace that I'm
just not looking in (though I have searched in many places).
