Hi managers
I have an Alphaserver 800 with 5.1B Patchkit 2. The system was
installupgraded from 4.0D to 5.1B. (never new installed)
I tried to install Patchkit 4. The dupatch started without errors. After a
while I saw the message
"*** Installing 64 patches ***". Then nothing happend for the next 2 hours.
After this time I was returned
to the Patch Utility menu, but no patch was installed.
So I tried Patchkit 3. This one was installed fine.
I tried once again Patchkit 4. With the same result. No Patch was installed.
dupatch -track -type kit -nolog
gives this result:
Patches installed on the system came from following software kits:
------------------------------------------------------------------
- T64V51BB22AS0002-20030415 OSF540
- T64V51BB24AS0003-20030929 OSF540
Does one of you know how to install PK4 on a System like this?
