I am running Brightstore ARCserve Backup on a Windows 2003 server. I
have installed the Tru64 clients on my Alpha Servers, one running 4.0D,
the other running 5.1A.
I have been able to do a full backup of each. Only ctime is changed if
I set a flag ( -t ) in uag.cfg, the client configuration file.
I am now trying to do a differential partial backup, but all the files
are backed up.
I find it hard to believe that an "Enterprise" backup package can't do a
partial backup of a Unix system, but then ... Files have no archive
bits, so it seems that partial backups might be impossible.
Any experience, advice, hints, or thoughts would be appreciated.
TIA.
Bruce.
