Tru64 on a PWS500a

Hi folks, new guy;

I have a number of the old PWS500a (miata) boxes which I would like to
put Tru64 5.1b on. Have the SW.

I understand that the original Matrox video cards yield only 640X480
VGA, so I'm swapping with Powerstorm 4d40Ts. Found the drivers.

These systems come with an oddball disk controller that presents
itself as a SCSI device, but has an IDE 2GB drive attached (?!). Will
this controller support larger drives under Tru64, or do I need a
different controller? If so, are there any fibre HBAs that are
compatible both with the SRM and Tru64?

I've looked for technical documentation for the PWS and the video card
and have found nothing. Is there something available on the web that
Google can't find?

I'm sure that I will have more questions, but this is a start. Thanks
for your help on this!

Regards,

Gary
