Hi,
I've setup several TR64 5.1B systems with Patch Kit 3 as of late. On average, about 320 patches are installed.
Well, on my latest system setup, instead of installing PK3, I decided to install PK4. Upon installation,
instead of seeing some 320+ patches, PK4 installed 36. I found this somewhat alarming, since previous patch kits
have always been cumulative. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
This was the command I used to install both PK3, and PK4 (the only diff is directory locations).
# ./dupatch -install -kit /cdrom/patch_kit -name root -note "install pk4" -proceed -patch all
