Large File Copy

I have to setup a copy of a 50Gig file from one Tru64 box to another on a
daily basis. I tried rsync but only get about 4-5 MB/s on the 1Gb ethernet
link. I tried ftp and I get about 30 MB/s out of that. Can anyone recommend
a low overhead method to do the copy that will be quicker??
