thanks to Steve Van Devender for the very fast reply
The startup script that sets up NFS services and exports is
/sbin/init.d/nfs. The setting that causes NFS services to start at
boot time is having NFSSERVING=1 in /etc/rc.config (see "man rcmgr" for
documentation on the rcmgr command that can be used to change
/etc/rc.config settings easily).
