Kerberos on Tru64

I have Tru64 UNIX 5.1B, which comes with CyberSafe GSS-API and Kerberos5
client libraries (OSFSSOW2K subset). The version supplied is rather old
and lacks (among other things) the ability to learn default realm form
the DNS.

Are there any plans for a newer version being included in some newer OS
release or as a part of a service pack?

I think it is nice to have Kerberos 5 and LDAP functionality built into
the system, but I would also liek it to be a bit more up to date.

I know I can install Heimdal or even MIT, but none of them are
thread-safe, although Heimdal users have not seen any trouble - unlike
MIT users (multi-threaded OpenLDAP + MIT Kerberos had problems).

I'm aware of Tru64 going down the drain (a damn shame). Could we have
more recent versions of LDAP and Kerberos as a parting gift?

Nix.
