New disk for XP1000

I have a Compaq Professional Workstation XP1000 (Tru64 Unix v4.0f)
and need to replace the system disk (the only disk). The Quick Specs
say that you can use up to an 18GB 10,000 rpm disk with a special fan
kit. Presumably, this will support up to four such disks.

My question is if I can replace the existing 4.3GB 10,000 rpm system
disk with only one 36GB 10,000 rpm disk? Will the controller support
this? I believe that it is KZPBA-CA or KZPCA-AA. (It's Wide Ultra,
not Wide Ultra2).
