System is 5.1a pk4, has an internal shelf configured for two buses
alternating slots bus0 and bus1, and an external shelf on a Qlogic 1020
card, bus5.
Recently I took all of the blonde RZ29 drives out of the external
shelf, put them on the internal shelf to replace RZ28's, and put two of the
blue RZ1CB-CA drives in the external shelf. Now I am getting this error
about once a second. On the last line of each error, it appears that the
machine is seeing the RZ1CB-CA drives as RZ29's, the drives that used to be
in there, even though hwmgr reports the drive type correctly. I have used
the blue SBB drives in this shelf before, with no problems, as long as all
of the drives are one type of the other. Have never seen these errors
before.
Can anyone tell me what is going on? I've done a lot of data
transfers to test the drives and they are working fine.
