Strange problems with AS4100

Hello!

I'm having rather strange problems with an AS4100. Tru64 5.1A fails
to boot from the install CD with a kernel memory fault, the 5.1B
CD boots up but the keyboard and mouse are totally locked up.

It does the same with any SCSI controller and video card I
could find, and with 'set console serial' the kernel panics after
probing the hardware with 'no console configured' or something
like that.

By g00gling around the planet I've found some indications that this
might be caused by the system being configured using the ECU floppy
(EISA Configuration Utility) for WinNT, so I'd need the ECU diskette
for UNIX/VMS to be able to boot Tru64. Some sources also mention
that I need at least the 1.9 version of the ECU to correctly
reconfigure the system and be able to run anything >= DU 4.x.

So if anyone of you would be so kind to make a dd image of such a
known-good ECU floppy (>=1.9 version, for UNIX/VMS) that would help
me a LOT in diagnosing/solving the problem.

Of course I would also appreciate any ideas or comments on the
above symptoms.

Thank you in advance!

Regards,
Szabolcs Rumi
