SUMMARY: Backing up in Tru64

Two suggestions came up, btcreate and vdump (btcreate
also performs vdump...)

I have always done vdump's of / & /usr(+/var) every
6months or whenever system was upgraded or patched.
Today I additionally added btcreate'ed tapes to my
emergency locker.

Command used to btcreate::

usr/sys/bin/btcreate -f -k SYSNAME -m mfs -s
/usr/lib/sabt/etc/fslist

the content of the fslist file is:

root_domain#root / advfs
usr_domain#usr /usr advfs

...simple and straight forward, from Chris Ruhnke.

Thanks to all who responded,
Chris Ruhnke, Dan Byrd, Richard Loken and Micheal
Deacy.
