We have a site that is trying to restore to a different platform for
disaster recovery testing. They made a full system backup and a btcreate
tape, but when I booted from CD and tried to restore it, the full backup
turned out to be less than full. It's asking for a second tape and there
isn't one.
They selected all of the filesystems to back up on the btcreate, so
it should all be there, but I can't boot from the tape because it's
different hardware. Is there any way to restore the /usr or any other
filesystems from a btcreate tape, without booting it?
thanks
