We have an AdvFS domain on one of our 5.1 clusters that is exhibiting some
strange behavior. The file system was filling up so we began deleting
files to get the usage back down. No matter how much we delete, df (or
vdf) never shows that we have gained back any space. As we approached 100%
usage and nothing had worked, we rebooted the entire cluster (two members)
hoping that this problem would clear but without success. Verify is
running now but hasn't found any problems. I've consulted all of my Tru64
documentation and books without finding anything like this. Do any of you
have any suggestions on what else we can try without having to go to
drastic measures?
