I have an odd problem.
I'm probably missing something trivial, but I can't see it.
I have implemented cluster IMAP on standard IMAP port 143, and
I can start the dameon on each member of the cluster and it
can bind to the cluster IP and port 143 no problem. However
when I try doing the same with IMAP over SSL (port 993) it
says:
bind: Address already in use
ll_daemon_start: Operation would block
Interestingly enough, if I change the IMAPS port number to
something like 343 instead of 993 it works OK. However using
any port in range 993-1000 doesn't work. The port is in use.
Even ports which are not in use according to netstat.
However standard IMAP on port 143 can be started on both cluster
members no problem. And similarly IMAPS can be started if it is
a low port number that it's binding too.
Is there something odd about ports in the 900 range in a
TruCluster 5.1A ?
