Hello,
I just did a fresh TRU64 V5.1B-1 on a machine from the HP kit. The actual process to do this was unclear from the documentation in the kit actually?
Anyhow, I figured out the combo of TRU64 V5.1B, Patch Kit #3 and NHD-7 constitute the upgrade. I put all that in and things are fine. BTW, the test machine I tried this on had none of the new hardware that TRU64 V5.1B-1 supports but I wanted to try anyhow.
My question:
1) I have Patch Kit #3 successfully installed
2) The file set OSHHWBASE543 is loaded on my system
Does that constitute all criteria needed for a successful V5.1B-1 upgrade or install for that matter?
