Problems installing Patch kit 3 for 5.1B

Hi gurus,

I'm having some troubles installing patch kit 3 for 5.1B. For some reason,
I cannot 'automatically' install the patches. I have a configuration
script that gets run after a machine has been loaded via RIS. With
previous patch kits, I run dupatch from the command line and the patches
install fine. (I have no problems w/ patch kit 2).

/usr/sbin/dupatch -install -kit ${MNT_DIR}/patch_kit -name "RIS
Installation" -note "." -patch all -proceed

But, as soon as I use this command to install patch kit 3, the wheels fall
off. It goes through all of the motions, but never installs ANY of the
patches, failing prereq's for one reason or another.

My temporary fix to this is to install patch kit 2 (using above command)
and immediately following that, install patch kit 3, using the same
command. Now this works fine. All of the patches from both kits that are
supposed to get installed get installed.

Has anyone else run into this problem? or is there something fundamentally
wrong with what I'm doing that I'm missing?
