Hi managers,

the other day i discovered that, when i su - it took about 15 seconds after
entering the password before i got the prompt, root is using ksh, and
apparently when root logins, ksh eats about 95% of the cpu time for about 15
seconds.
I went to the console, and at the xterm window where root is logged in, the
cursor was moving fast like someone was holding down the space key, I closed
the window, but ever since that happened i have this problem

I can only recreate this problem by logging in root or by running ksh as
root

we are running Tru64 4.0e on an as800

any suggestions ??
