my question was how to correctly load the OSFC2SEC subset from cdrom:
I got 2 very quick answers from:
Nikola Milutinovic
Martin Rønde Andersen
both gave me the command setld -l /mnt/cdrom/ALPHA/BASE and then choose
approbiate subset from list, i chose both gui and txt version of the subset
Nikola kindly informed me that kernel rebuilding was only neccesary if i
wanted audit, and he gave me a way to check it:
FIFU:/# grep AUDIT /sys/conf/FIFU
options DEC_AUDIT
worked like a charm, thanks a lot and happy new year to all
