Hi managers,

These days, we faced a performance problem on our GS1280 with Tru64 v5.1b pk1. Sometimes, we noticed there was significant slowness, then we checked by <ps -ef> and found there were more than 100 defunct processes with different ownership.

All defunct processes will be disappeared automatically. This problem has been lasting for 2 weeks.

Any idea on this problem??

Thanks,
