Dear all
I have digital unix 4.0f on ES40 alpha server on which
i m running oracle 8.1.7.0. application.I am using
DRD's for storing the oracle data files.
I am taking a cold backup with dd command like this
dd if=/dev/rdrd/drd2 count=256001 of=/dev/nrmt1h
bs=8192
.I am destroying the existing raidests of raid fashion
5 with 4 harddisks..I am making a new raidset 5 with 8
harddisks.The size of the DRDs will also change.After
making the partitions & mounting DRD's ,how will i
restore my backup .Will the resizing cause any
problem.

Thanks
