Dear all,
I have made a new raidsets of 8 harddisks in raidset
fashion 5.I have digital unix version 4.0 running on
ES40 alpha serverwith HSG80 controller.I have mde 7
new vitual disks & then made the partitions. I have
mounted the DRD on these partitions.
1)Now i want to mount these DRD's for my oracle
tablespaces.How can i do this.
2) I have taken the backup of the tablespaces from my
earlier DRD's by using dd command.Now i want to
restore this backup in the new DRD's.Will it create
any problem to restore the data because my earlier
partition size & new partitions sizes will be
different.
