>I have a system that has an unusual looking route in it.  I delete it, but after a day or so, it will reappear.  It is a 10.1 address, which should go through the default gateway, but it seems the DG is sending it back to the host and telling it "the best way to get to you, is to go directly to you".  There is a "D" flag, so it's been redirected.  Everything should go through some defined gateway (or redirected one), but this host's gateway is itself. This happens on other hosts as well.  Why is this?  If the DG lost connection to this host, and knew of no other gatway that could get there, would it send and ICMP that looked like this? Here is the line I'm speaking of.
