Many Thanks to this list already.

I got the information that I needed.

Original question:
How do I put a new disklabel in place so I have all of the correct
size?? This will replace a corrupt filesystem

Thanks to Allan Rollow, Dr Tom, Selden E Ball, Pat OBrien

Answers

Save the data on the current drive (if saving to disk it is faster than
to tape)
reboot to CD, since this is the root partition.
restore the disklabel from saved file (you saved one right?)
        # disklabel -r -R -t ufs -R rz0 /label_rz0 rz29
restore the / and /usr filesystems to seperate partitions
reboot the computer
