Hallo,
Iam having a serious problem with an AlphaServer 4100.
OS : Tru64 v5.1A with PK2 and PK4.
AFS client SW is installed (Number of AFS client SW is running on other
Tru64 machines without problems.)
The problem is the following:

Those who want to login to system, even from the system console,
are not getting their prompt back. The System hangs. Afterwards there
is no reaction with the buttons ^C or ^D or ^Z etc. I had to reboot the
system.The machine runs for 1-2 days and hangs. I am not getting
any error messages. 2 FS from other machines are mounted on this system.
The exported machines from wher the FS mounted are working. As I
mentioned the root account also
is not getting the prompt on the console. Those who are having a session
they
can work. But once they make any type error their session also hangs.
Ex: less <CR>. Afterwards no control key(Ex: ^C) can not bring the prompt
back.
Any suggestions or help will be appreciated.
