I've been using Hummingbird Exceed 8.0 to manage remote clusters using CDE
Xwindows with success for the past several months.
The Xwindows display has worked fine up to a few days ago and now when I
launch the CDE, I get all the login messages but I don't receive any login
window. I'm able to telnet in using Exceed's VT emulator but the CDE won't
start up now.
Since telnet is using port 23 I'm wondering what port the CDE Xwindows
display is trying to use and failing.
I've tried setting the DISPLAY variable back to my workstation and lauching
xclock just to test it but I receive the familiar error;
Error: Can't open display: x.x.x.x:0.0
The servers are running V5.1a and V5.1b.
Has anyone run into this problem before?
