Must be the solar flare affecting my mind...
I stopped the NFS software on the other server, which effectively staled the
mount. I was then able to kill the process.

Subject: Can't kill copy process to NFS share
I need to umount an NFS share but it's showing device busy. Checking into
it, I find a user trying to cp from it. The user tried to cancel the cp,
and even closed out his session. The cp process is still there. I tried a
kill -9 on the cp process but it is refusing to die. Any recommendations?
