UPDATE: Alpha ES80 time loss

I have received a number of responses to this post and all pointed to the
fact that this is a known issue and that I need to upgrade my firmware.
Checking my firmware version shows me:
consvar -g version
version = V6.5-17 Jul 14 2003 11:01:33

Unless I need a higher revision of the firmware. Some suggestions have come
in about applying pathkit 2 or 3. I will summarise as soon as the problem is
resolved. Any further suggestions would be highly welcome.

Noah.

Subject: Alpha ES80 time loss

Hello managers,

I had a two node cluster with two GS60E servers. I did a rollover
upgrade from 5.1A to 5.1B and also replaced the lead member with an
ES80.

However I have a problem with the ES80 in that it constantly loses time
such that after a few hours into the day it has lost over an hour or
more. Any hints as to what could be causing this problem. Interestingly
enough the second node (GS60E) does not lose time and yet both are using
the same ntp server.

Any suggestions to resolve this issue?

Noah.
