Help with ES40 and Hitachi 9970V

Hello:

I have an ES40 that has been happily booting off of an EMA12000 (hsg80)
for a few years. We got a Hitachi 9970V to replace it, and I'm trying to
get SRM to see the luns from the Hitachi to boot from.

wwidmgr locks up when I issue a -show wwid or -show port.

HP support says its not supported: but has anyone here booted from a 99XX
series LUN?

The es40 sees the luns fine when its booted from a HSG80 lun, its getting
wwidmgr to see it that is causing problems.
