ES80 Partitions

I just partitioned an ES80 Mod4 into two hard partitions each consisting of
one drawer and I noticed that if I shut either OCP key switch off it powers
off both partitions. Is this normal?

I can power off either partition from the MBM with out any problems, but I
don't like the idea that either drawer can shut down the other one by
turning the key switch. I thought that the ES80 was suppose to have complete
isolation between the other hard partitions in the cab. Am I doing something
wrong?
