I need some general information as to what is required to do this? What manuals, will it require >a kernel MAKE? Any assistance would be much appreciated, and I will provide a summary.

Summary:
There seems to be a difference of opinion as to whether enhanced security will require a kernel re-build or not. I believe that if auditing is initiated, the rebuild is required. Thanks to many for the useful links to the security manual, which I will print and read. I also enjoyed the powerpoint presentation, it gave me a useful overview.
Once again, the managers have come to the rescue! Thanks again to all.
