Backup software advice

Hi Managers,

Sorry if this is a little off-topic. I need to get more storage for my
system and have found that our DS10 is now fully loaded and I can
not add any more devices to it and keep it "supported". To cut a long
story short, I am going to invest in a NAS and a new back-up device
to accommodate all the new storage. All the kit is HP.

The area of concern is back-up. I am used to using vdump and
rdump. Currently I have 3 back-up devices on 2 UNIX servers. The
new tape library will have to sit on the MS Win NAS. I would like to
centralise my backups and am looking for ways to back-up the
storage on the DS10 (250GB, TRU64 5.1), a DEC 3000 (20GB, TRU64
4.0D) as well as the data on the NAS (750GB). I presume I would
need to purchase a Win32 product for this but I haven't seen any that
has agents for UNIX. Does anyone know of a back-up product that
will do this or have any advice before I take the plunge?

FYI, the new kit I am considering is the HP NAS 1000S (1TB) and the
HP SSL2020AIT.

Thanx.
Dp.
