Hello,

I found recently that the compiler version of C++ is different on two alpha
machine,
while the same version was in use for long time.

Host A is running DIGITAL UNIX V4.0F while Host B is running DIGITAL UNIX
V4.0D.
The compiler version on host B (4.0D) is newer than host A (4.0F).

Sometime back, both host were having same compiler version.

Is this possible that patch has changed the version of this?
If yes, then could you please give some pointer, how we can track the patch
and either install on once machine or uninstall from the other machine.

A> cxx -V
DIGITAL C++ V6.1-027 on DIGITAL UNIX V4.0 (Rev. 1229)
A>

B> cxx -V
DIGITAL C++ V6.1-029 on DIGITAL UNIX V4.0 (Rev. 878)
B>

Any help would be great.
