3D viewing problem

Recently installed Tru 64 5.1b with the correct Power Storm drivers on my
Alpha AXP 599MHz workstation with a PowerStorm 4D51T Video Card in it and
all was seamless until I tried to view a 3D model in our inhouse viewer and
the application just closes and returns the following error:

Xlib extension GLX missing on display ":0.0"
GlxDrawiingArea requested visual not supported

This viewer has worked on three previous versions of Digital Unix and
Tru64. Don't have another app to test if it is our software, but suspect
something is misconfigured. Any ideas.
