Original Post:

Trying to roll the cluster to v5.1b.

After running "clu_upgrade setup 1" I get the following message...

*** Error ***
A cluster upgrade requires that the '/var' file system have '237387718'
blocks of
available space. You currently have '17932432' blocks of available space and
need an additional '219455286' blocks of disk space before the upgrade can
proceed. Increase the available disk space and rerun this stage of the
upgrade.

I find it difficult to believe that /var requires ~120Gb of disk space.
Any comments?

Summary:

The majority of the responses advise that the space requirement was mb and
not gb. Unfortunately, these were incorrect.

Kudos to Johan Brusche with this response.

"The upgrade wants to make a backuo-tar of all member-specific files, ie
mostly config files. BUT, if you mount a local only filesystem onto a
mountpoint that is a CDSL, then also that whole filesystem is counted
towards the space required for that tar-file. So unmount any filesystem
mounted on this member's CDSL's and redo the setup."

We had a couple of CDSL mounted file-systems that were being considered for
the upgrade sizing process.

Thanks
Frank
