SUMMARY: Escape code for Tru64 Unix 5.1a print jobs

Original question:

We were printing from Unix to an HP LaserJet 4100TN printer through a
Lantronix print server and everything was working fine until the print
server broke. Seeing as the printer had a JetDirect card, we connected it
directly to the network, but now the printer doesn't seem to see the escape
codes that we use for formatting. The original escape code is:

^[E^[(8U^[(s0p19h0s0b6T^[&l0s1o12D^[&a8L

Can anyone provide insight on why this isn't working going through the
JetDirect card?

Thanks to Rich Copeland, Mark Deiss, Mahendra Rajah, and Shaun Racine for
the replies (and escape script). I played around with this until I wore
everybody's patience thin and never got it to work right with the JetDirect.
So I scrounged up another Lantronix print server and made it work to keep
the natives happy. I'll save this for when I have time to experiment with
it in the lab (Ha!) because it's something that SHOULD work.

Thanks again!

Our glory is not in never falling, but rising every time we fall.
