After serveral of our system lost power due to Thursday's blackout, it
seems that two of them did not come back up ok. When we try booting
these systems (One system: Compaq Alpha Server ES40 running Tru64 5.1a and the
other is a Compaq AlphaServer ES10). We are getting messages such as
these:
CCB request Completed with an error
Error Exception or Abnormal condition
Medium Error - non recoverable
I thought it was odd that two of the machines are experiencing this
problem. I wanted to know if when the power came back on, is is
possible that some surge rendered these disks useless?
