fh3tovp: bad length

Hello managers:

I have two problems on a Tru64 V4.0F server.

1) First, each year we purchase our OSF-USR software licenses on
something called the CSLG (Campus Software License Agreement). The
license installation is menu driven and quite simple. At the end of
July each year, if the CSLG has not been applied, the licenses expire
usually resulting in immediate problems for remote logins. This year I
applied the licenses and experienced no problems as of the end of July,
but have been seeing the following periodically in the logs:
vmunix: OSF-USR license PAK has expired

Is there a chance that I just need to run lmf reset to be sure the
current licenses are applied, or is it possible that someone is trying
to run a program which is no longer supported?

2) Over the past few weeks I get this error showing periodically in the
logs of two Tru64 servers:
vmunix: fh3tovp: bad length: 12

Does this error mean anything to anyone out there?

Thanks,
