CD-ROM type

Is there a Tru64 command that will probe the CD-ROM device and display
back the Make and Manufacture for the CD-ROM? I know this is possible
from the SRM console using "show devices" but I was wondering if this
was possible to achieve within Tru64 without shutting down the OS.
