ISC DHCPD 3.0

I'm wondering if anyone is successfully using the ISC dhcp server v3 on
Tru64.

We've been using v2.0 for a long time, and I tried v3.01rc4 back in Nov
2001. At the time it didn't work properly for me - it would log sending
out a DHCPOFFER to certain devices, but they would never send back a
DHCPREQUEST, and from some mailing list entries it seems possible that
the DHCPOFFER was never going out on the wire (archived at
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=dhcp-server&m=100637438007792&w=2)

Well, today I tried again, building and running DHCPD 3.0pl2, but see
what looks like the same behaviour, so had to revert once more to
2.0... I don't suppose anyone has seen this and knows the cause or a
solution?

We're running Tru64 Unix v5.1A PK4 on a DS20 using a DEGPA-TA
interface.
