Hello all:
I have 1 Compaq Alpha Server GS140 and 4 Compaq Alpha Server 4100. I
need to migrate those servers to 5.1a. I have read the documentation and
release notes, and I know that I have to migrate previously to the 5.0a
version. I have some doubts about the hardware in the machines. The release
notes always speaks about future releases, saying that in a future release
of the operating system, support for something will be retired. Someone
knows where can I find really which hardware is supported in tru64 5.0a and
5.1a versions? I have read that in future releases support for hsz80, hsz70
( I have some of them ) and DEC 4000 systems will be retired. Can I migrate
to 5.1a without problems or the new version is not supported on the hardware
that I have ?
