Thanks to Ashish Tripathi, Robert Yohn, and Lecia Lynn for their responses.
I added :sh:\ option to my /etc/printcap entry and restarted the print queue
and now the banner page does not print.
Thanks again,
Chris

Subject: How to turn off the banner page when printing
Admins,
I am currently running into a problem when I am printing on Tru64
5.1. We are trying to print without a banner however a banner page is still
printing. We have tried the following command lpr -o nobanner -Pprintername
file and got a banner page. I am not sure if there is a entry for
/etc/printcap we can use here is the entry we have
tuls95|tuls95:\
:lf=/usr/adm/printers/tuls95:\
:lp=:\
:rm=tuls95:\
:rp=tuls95_P1:\
:sd=/usr/spool/printers/tuls95:
I am at a loss, could anybody point me in the right direction? I
will summarize.
TIA,
Chris Bryant
