Hi,
A question on replacing a defect disk.

Operating System: OSF 4.0F

I have LSM in system disk. One of the disks holding the mirrored volume is
defective.
There are two plexes in that volume and one is disabled due to this.

I have the procedure to replace the disk, but I want to know few things:

1. Can I do this online, when system is using that domain ?
or
Should I need to deactivate and unmount the filesystem of the advfs
domain associated with this disk group and volume.

2. After performing the task of removing the failed disk from the disk
group, initializing and adding the new disk, I need to run volrecover
command to resynchronize the disk.
    My question is:
Will advfs domain be available after adding the disk so users can start
accessing the file system while volrecover runs in the background.

Thanks a lot,
Regards,
