FYI:
Have a SAN with spec as follows:
Model....HP/Compaq ESA/EMA 1200
ACS Firmware v8.6p
Redundant HSG80's.
Cache is not mirrored.
Also we do not have any tools/utilities to run
snapshots.
Q1:
does ACS Firmware v8.6p support snapshots?
Q2:
Does cache have to be mirrored to take snapshots?
Q3:
Is there a script to automate snapshots on HSG80's?
Q4:
Can someone point me to usefull documentation for
snapshots.. I've been looking at HP SAN Storageworks
docs but they're not very detailed on requirements and
managing SANs.
