We have a ES40 with 4 CPUS with two DE602 NIC cards running
v5.1B with patch kit 1.

We are doing a rcp to a different machine

(rcp bigfile other:/tmp/bigfile) which takes 35 Secs
(rcp other:/tmp/bigfile this:/tmp/bigfile)takes only 12 secs

We have tried different machines and the same result.All the
outgoing connections(both NIC cards) from the machines in
question are 3 times slower than incoming connections. We
have checked the setting on eia0_mode , eib0_mode , both of
which are set to FastFD .
The switch ports are also set to FastFD.

What might be the problem? Can somebody point me to the
right direction
