Hi folks
I have just installed an extra 1GB ram (4x256MB in bank 1) in my XP1000
to add to the pre-existing 128MB in bank 0. But the system doesn't
recognize the extra memory. The boot up display shows it only
recognizes the memory in bank 0 and claims that bank 1 is empty. The
command 'show memory' at the >>> prompt likewise returns just 128MB. Is
there a setting that I need to change to get it to see the extra memory?
The memory chips were ordered for an XP1000 and have the correct Compaq
part number.
